They email you for a phone interview with their HR staff. Then they ask you to go to their office for an assessment exam then you are given an interview with their hiring manager. Typical interview. But they asked a lot of personal questions such as age, marital status, race, etc.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (Tampa, FL) in May 2011
Interview
They are looking for your personality in the interview, and pretty much pass on experience from what it seems. They want to know that you can engage a customer (and you will be rated on this ability very often) and show compassion, etc. Don't be too serious.
