The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Canadian Natural in Oct 2010
Interview
I submitted my resume to the student recruiter. She got back to me when she had passed my resume on to the lead engineer that was interested, and set up a phone interview. Phone interview consisted of me going through my resume, explaining my experience, and the interviewers explaining the position. No off the wall interview questions, just a casual non-stressful conversation. A couple weeks later I got a call with an offer.

Lasted about an hour and i was offered the job 2 weeks later. The overall experience was good and I would not stress over this interview. Just be yourself and stay calm. Good luck!

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Canadian Natural (Edmonton, AB) in Sept 2014
Interview
You just have to apply online on their website with a cover letter, resume and transcript all in one pdf document. I applied as a co-op student and they do a slight briefing or presentation at the school before all the interviews so that you have all the information about the job and they wont have to go through it with each candidate. The interview is typically 30-40 min long and it will be two people interviewing you. One of them will be an engineer but not necessarily one that you will be working with and the other person will be a HR rep from the campus program.

Question 1
They generally focus on behavioural questions so nothing really technical. They will ask about your previous work experiences and what you learned there. What things you like about school? Tell me about yourself. Have you ever conflicted with another worker etc.
