I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Campaign Monitor (Sydney) in Apr 2017
Interview
- Initial Phone Interview - basic questions asking about my experience and what im looking for with recruiter
- 2nd phone interview with hiring manager - technical questions and similar. getting to know myself, experience, goals etc.
- onsite. met with 3 people at different times. 30min with one, 30min with another, then another via conference. Different roles asking for my technical background, how i react to situations, where i want to go etc.
All in all, its lengthy but they communication fine for the most part. Staff were very nice.
Why the Neutral rating?
I was informed i didn't get an offer due to my experience not matching and there being better candidates. This is the one reason that should be known at the BEGINNING stages of an interview process. Not right at the finish line. Some dishonesty or lack of knowing what they want is my sense. I'd have been fine with them saying there was better candidates for other reasons, but not this one out of all. I felt like i wasted all my time now knowing that just because of my experience which is all on my resume to be the cost of my lack of offer.
