Interview
Online objective test for English skills. Questions were intelligently framed, required a bit of thinking but easy once we are able to spot the grammatically correct option. Level of difficult was average. Only lacuna was that the company does not share correct answers as thye reuse the test. Understandable
There is no interview. It's just an exam. It's also multiple choice, but you need to select all that apply, not just one answer. Also, your screen is monitored as you take the exam.

In the exam, you may be asked, for example, how you would correct a sentence with mistakes in it.
No formal interview. I sent my CV and completed an example edit which was reviewed by them to determine if I was suitable. They sent me confirmation about a week later that I had been accepted.
Online MCQ test spanning general conventions in editing academic papers. Questions to test the ability to pick up grammatical errors. Then I received a call from HR and was asked about my preferences for Full-time or Remote.
