      CVS Store Manager Interview

      11 Oct 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at CVS Health

      Interview

I was emailed by a CVS recruiter claimed my experiences would be a good fit with the company. I posted and took the test which was very engaging and had some level of challenge. After I got a passing score. I was reached out by the recruiter and said I would need to have a phone interview. I passed the phone interview and I posted for the open position. The recruiter was very nice in having me only post for locations close to my house. Then the through the process of locations posting then closing. I received a call from a admin on setting up an interview I wasn't able to get connect based on that schedule. Then several weeks passed and I connect with an other Admin. I set up an interview. After arriving at the location. The Interviewer had me sit in a meeting room. I waiting almost waited 15 minutes after the start time of the actually interview. The interview was more understanding my resume and previous experiences. Nothing more was asked. I felt like I wasted my time to have his sort of interview after three months of back and forth. Which the interviewer apologized as they were not trying to hurt my feeling with bluntness. I don't suggest anyone invest time in a company which has candidates journey on a process that leads to such disappointment. I reached out and had them remove my application from the system. The recruiters are great the issue is the hiring manager

      Application

I applied in-person. I interviewed at CVS Health (Boston, MA) in Jan 2019

      Interview

Quite casual as the interviewing team wanted it to be more like a get to know you session. They placed some value on your resume yet how you presented yourself was a more powerful message.

      Application

I applied through other source. I interviewed at CVS Health (Gilford, NH) in Jun 2015

      Interview

Had 1st interview with store manager in the town I live in. I initially applied for shift supervisor position, met with manager and he looked at my resume and told me that he was going to pass on my resume to his district manager because I have way to much experience for shift supervisor. Granted I have worked in retail for 20 yrs and have run store for other companies but I was trying to get out of one dead end job that was not a good company to work for. And told me I would be hearing from the district manager in my area for an interview soon. It's now the weekend so I'm sure I will get the call this coming week
