Irresponsible play with personal emotions and waste of time. On LinkedIn, the position would remain open for over 7 weeks. That would be removed, and the job would be re-posted.
The process took more than 5weeks. I was contacted by HR, attended the screening (30-minute interview). In a couple of days, I was scheduled for a technical interview with the department head (30-minute). The next technical interview came quickly too, it was with a team lead(1-hour). After a week or so, I was scheduled for another technical interview with the team member(1-hour). After multiple follow-ups, there was an additional interview with SVP (30-mins) that lasted just for 10mins -neither technical nor cultural questions were asked, Nothing but just where do I live, and my current company experience.
And very next day a, Rejection voicemail was sent by the hiring manager. Wondering how a short 10min call ended up rejection despite clearing technical interviews.
Reason told- It was determined that while your background is impressive. It was felt that given our extremely fast-paced environment that you would not thrive, and that wouldn’t be fair to you.
All the negative comments have been erased from the glassdoor.
