Interview
The interview process started with the usual phone screen. That was straight forward. It was followed by a phone interview with the Director of Engineering, again straight forward. Then they wanted me to do a quick project for them with a Skype conference to defend my project. The conference was set up similar to a design review with HR, Director of Engineering, a senior engineer and a trainer.

Question 1
The project was one that thy had previously bid on and hadn't gotten the contract. I got the feeling that if I had done the project the same way they had bid then I would have been asked to come to Newberg for an offer. I had a different concept and it seemed that it did not sit well with them. The video conference did not go well. They use a plugin for Skype that disabled my microphone.
