CIRO / OCRI interview questions

Applied through LinkedIn. Received an invitation to a 30-minute HR screening call a few weeks later. Found out during this call that my salary requirements (which are very reasonable and considered fair market value for the role and experience) were vastly higher than CIRO could pay. They do seem to have good benefits but salaries may not be competitive for some roles. There was no openness to negotiate. I didn’t get a good feeling about the culture based on this one call as the HR rep seemed disengaged. Never heard back. Not even with a “thank you for your time” automated message.
