The interview process was incredibly smooth and expedited, which I greatly appreciated. I first spoke with a recruiter and then had three calls with other team members. The interviews were very conversational and enjoyable. I also appreciated the team's ability to set up calls quickly, rather than having to go through the long, drawn-out interview processes that are common at other companies.
That being said, the end of the process was disappointing. I was not offered the role, which was disappointing but totally understandable. However, when I followed up with the initial recruiter who had been coordinating all of the interviews and asked if I could receive feedback, she completely ghosted me. I followed up with her a total of three times, simply asking for feedback, but I never received a response. Offering feedback seems to be standard practice, and it is the only real way to improve in these interview situations. I took several hours out of my busy schedule to prepare and show up for interviews over the course of a few weeks; the least they could have done is take five minutes to write me an email with some basic feedback.
It was a disappointing end to an otherwise enjoyable experience.
