I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at CARVANA (Phoenix, AZ) in Jan 2016
Interview
I was recruited via LinkedIn, a recruiter reached out to me about the position. She later scheduled a preliminary phone interview. The phone interview was relaxed and very simple, mainly regarding my past work experience and a more in depth description of the role. I was offered an interview shortly after, my in-person interview was at HQ and I met with several Customer advocates, and then had first hand experience in shadowing customer service calls. After I met with a lead customer advocate, I received a email for a final interview same day. My final interview was with the head of the Customer Advocate position. She discussed availability and asked other personality based questions. I received an offer on the Monday following my Friday final interview

How do you feel your personality will translate over the phone?
How would you describe your leadership experience?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at CARVANA (Tempe, AZ) in Oct 2024
Interview
Contacted via text on the interview process, and information was not clear on the interview process. Was not sure whom I was texting, and when I asked for a name, the individual did not provide a name so assumed I was texting chatbots. Texts claimed I would be interviewing in person with 2 hiring managers, however, after the interview ended with the 2 hiring managers ended up interviewing a separate time with higher-ups with a total of 4 people and for a total of an hour for the combined two interviews. Maybe this process didn't apply to everyone, but I did not appreciate the under-communication.

Interview
Straight forward, use STAR to answer any questions and be yourself. They basically ask about previous customer service experience and how you handle different situations. This position is on the road driving a truck so make sure you are comfortable with that.

Question 1
How have you handled a difficult customer experience?
Quick and Easy! The process took 2 weeks which was great! Interviewing should not take more then that as some companies will go as long as 2 months. Very happy with the process.
