I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at CARVANA (Orlando, FL) in Jun 2020
Interview
Phone interview with recruiter followed by two other interviews the same week.First interview was good and positive ,last interview was luke warm , seemed like he had already had his mine made up even before the interview started .
Interview process was done in a week.
I believe the entire interview process should be clearly explained to applicants from the beginning in terms of how many rounds of interviews the process has and an expectation of a decision within a given timeframe .

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at CARVANA (Tempe, AZ) in Sept 2019
Interview
Very easy process! I've been job hunting for a few months now and this by far was the best experience.
Everything happened so fast. I applied on a Thursday and someone reached out that following Monday to schedule a phone interview. The phone interview took place that same week. Basic questions, "Why Carvana?"... "Describe a project you worked on".
After the phone interview, I received a follow up email inviting me to an on-site interview the following week. After it was scheduled, I received location information and was advised to bring a few resumes.
Once I arrived on-site, I met with someone who gave a brief tour and walked me to a conference room. I will admit, as I was walking through, I did notice the culture appeared to be very laid back and casual. They had massage therapists there performing massages in chairs for employees. I saw a team having a "party" on the floor for one of their team members. Overall, it definitely seemed like a great place to work.
During the interview, I met with 4 different leaders individually. Each interview took approx 30 mins. Only two of them took notes while the others just asked questions and I guess kept a mental note in their head. It was more of a conversation versus the typical "tell me about a time" questions. I assume their main goal is to determine if the right candidate will fit in with their fast paced culture. I was told that they are constantly growing, which is a good thing. They are expanding currently and will be opening a new office soon so the career progression possibilities are endless.
After the interviews, I was walked out and was told I would hear something soon as they are looking to hire ASAP. Sure enough, two days later, I received a phone call from them offering me the position. After a few days of negotiations, I accepted the offer and started September 23rd!!

Question 1
There were no difficult questions asked. It was mostly a conversation about career past and how you would fit in with the Carvana culture.

Interview
I applied for the position and soon after they emailed me saying they wanted to proceed with a phone interview and had me select a date and time. A few days later I received another email from a recruiter confirming the date and time of my phone interview.
The date and time came and went, no call from the recruiter. 15 minutes after my interview was to begin I emailed the recruiter (same person I was to interview with) telling her I am available to reschedule. I never heard from her. I received a form email later that night saying they have moved on with other candidates??
Totally unprofessional. If they treat candidates like this, it makes me wonder how they treat their employees and customers. I read some reviews from employees and I think I dodged a bullet here. I would avoid working at this company.
