      Fire Fighter Interview

      8 Apr 2010
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at CAL Fire in Mar 2009

      Interview

All the questions were case based. They give you scenarios and ask how you would respond. They are very generic relating to the fire service and sample questions can be found online. The sample questions are very similar to the actual ones they ask and they grade them on on specific criteria that you must mention.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

How would you prepare for a long hike on a hot day up a steep hill with heavy equipment? And what are some of the dangers you would look out for?
