I was asked to create sample work before even having a preliminary phone interview. My work was then corrected to the most minute detail that I was somehow expected to know, even though I never worked for the company, wasn’t trained, and was not even in an advance stage of the interview process. I could just tell I would be micromanaged daily, so I chose to not proceed with the interview process.

Was asked to do free work as part of the interview process. This was asked of me before a phone interview, and without even telling me their budget for this role
