The interview process was clearly laid out in the job description. It consisted of an interview with the recruiter to discuss the position and my background. Next was a simple technical interview that involved writing a few fairly simple SQL queries and explaining them as if to a non-technical user. That was followed with a call with a senior member of the team to discuss the position further and what day-to-day is like at Bytecode. Then I was given a technical exercise to complete on my own time that consisted of performing a small ETL task using a SaaS tool and doing some analysis on the results. Finally, it was a call with the recruiter again to finalize the details of the job offer. Overall, it was a very quick and painless process.
