I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Butterfly Effects (Columbia, SC) in Jul 2017
Interview
Phone interview, followed by a second interview. This was in 2014, so things have likely changed. I was very excited to start as a BCBA and get a real job.

Writing sample, experience, how would I respond in a difficult situation
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Butterfly Effects
Interview
The interview process followed a straightforward structure: Recruiter Call → Interview → Job Offer. I received a job offer via text the day after my interview, followed by daily follow-up texts regarding the offer. While I appreciated the quick turnaround and enjoyed my conversations throughout the process, the constant communication—particularly while I was working full-time—became overwhelming. The rapid pace didn’t allow me adequate time to thoroughly research the company, carefully review the contract, or ask thoughtful questions and process the responses. I would have appreciated a bit more time and space to make an informed decision.
I applied online. I interviewed at Butterfly Effects (Dallas, TX) in Jan 2024
Interview
Interview was held via telehealth. It had two parts, first I spoke with someone who asked brief questions then with the director. The second part was more in depth, asking hypothetical questions that required answering with solutions I would consider appropriate. I’m a brand new BCBA so while I appreciated the troubleshooting on the spot, it did make me nervous. Overall it was a thorough and positive interview.
