I had a call with someone in the uk office which lasted ten minutes as he just asked my interest in the job. He then set me up for an in person meeting at their sydney office. When i arrived at the address their business was not listed on the directory. I messaged the person i was supposed to be meeting 5 minutes before the meeting asking for help getting to the office. I recieved no response. I tried calling him on whatsapp and messages after the interview was meant to have started. After ten minutes I still had no response and finally someone came down and asked my name and took me to the office. He said the person i was meant to be meeting was on a call. He introduced me to everyone in the office who wasn't on a call then took me out on to the balcony (which had trains going by and planes going overhead) and started 'interviewing me'. He explained the history of the company and that the people in the office were currently trying to fit six weeks of work into four so they could have their Christmas break. He also stated breaks were offered but most people chose to work through them. He said training would most likely be done after work hours with the new group. During the interview he asked only two questions, one being 'can you take a joke?' And expected me to ask more questions (which i had been told to prepare and had available). He said it was a very joking office giving the example of making fun of a staff member cause he used to be fat. I received an email later that night explaining the process wouldn't go further as I wasn't a good culture fit, an outcome I was glad for.
