I applied online. I interviewed at Bureau Veritas (Indianapolis, IN) in May 2026
Interview
The hiring process began with a phone screening conducted by HR, followed by a scheduled virtual interview with the supervisors. Unfortunately, there seemed to be some communication issues throughout the process. During my interview, the individuals I was originally scheduled to meet with did not attend, and another interviewer joined instead.
After the interview, I was told that I would receive an update within a week. When I did not hear back, I followed up and was told they needed a few more days. After another week, I followed up again and was informed that the decision would be delayed by an additional two weeks because HR was on leave. Following that waiting period, I reached out once more and ultimately received an automated rejection email.
The lack of timely communication and the repeated delays made the overall candidate experience frustrating and left the impression that the hiring process was not well coordinated.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Bureau Veritas (Mumbai) in Mar 2025

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Bureau Veritas (Hanau) in May 2026
Interview
As far as I could notice they had not read my curriculum. Althouth the manager was kind, it felt like he and the coordinator were not "coordinated". They did not have a laboratory in Germany, they did not provide a car in spite of the need to drive every day and they did not have offices in Germany. It felt like a big amount of the risk was being transferred to this single position.
