I responded to a Craigslist ad for a job at the Reston location via e-mail with my resume attached. I got a response from the GM the following day. He asked about my availability and such (said it was good when I told him what it was) mentioned that their starting pay was less than at my last job, but that he has a little flexibility on that depending on experience, and scheduled an interview for later in the week. I did tell him that I had another job to get to that evening, but I did have a 2 hour window in which I could come by; he said the interview should only take about 30 minutes. Well, I came in on the scheduled date a few minutes early, and everything seemed pretty normal. The GM went over my availability once again, didn't really take any notes except seemed to be vaguely writing down my availability (we already discussed it via e-mail, so I'm not really sure why we had to again in person?) Anyway, I did mention that I would be out of town for one weekend the next month, but other than that I basically had full open availability. He said it sounded great, and that he would get back to me (via e-mail, I presume) within the hour. That seems...fast? Anyway, the "interview", if you could even call it that, lasted all of 5 minutes. I wasn't asked any questions beyond my availability (again), and that was literally it. I thought it was a little strange. Anyway, I kept waiting for the e-mail, but got nothing. I waited until the next day to send a follow-up e-mail, just to make sure he didn't forget, asking whether or not I had the job, and if not, if I could have some feedback and whatnot, and when I didn't receive a response I came here and wrote up this review, which I marked as a negative experience. A week later, I finally received a response with a job offer, which I thought was a little strange, given it was such a late reply. I wonder if they saw the review and noticed I originally wrote that it was unprofessional how I never got a reply and marked it as a negative experience.
