The screening interview was fair and balanced. Client representatives understood position, and spoke to where skills matched role so we could partner in presenting me to client. When working with a staffing firm, this first interview is important so that both contractor and representation company evaluate if the role is a good fit, and in presenting the right person to the client.

Consistent negative experiences with this group. In the past 3 years, I have been contacted repeatedly by recruiters for roles. The process goes as follows: they eagerly reach out, they schedule a time to chat with you, they go over the role during the phone call, then they say they're going to meet with the hiring manager to schedule your next interview. Then they disappear. Every single time. This is echoed in others' experiences. This time, I was approached by two recruiters the same week. The first said I'd have a second interview that same week, then she canceled the interview and said she re-schedule for the following week. She then disappeared. The second did the same thing but said what her colleague did (ghost me) was not part of their recruiting best practices and that she wouldn't do it to me. But then she did. So I reached out to corporate about this and within a week both recruiters responded, both claiming that they were "out of the country", which is why I hadn't heard from them. This is a patent lie. They were both on LinkedIn actively posting roles and commenting during that time. So corporate coached them on what excuse to give me is what it sounds like. Disgusting. I will never work with these people again and I hope others think twice the next time they are reached out to by Brooksource recruiters.
