First interview was with an internal recruiter who was so sweet and kind. We had a 1 hour+ conversation about my background and experience, what I was looking for and about the company overall.
It got a little weird after that. The night before my second interview the recruiter called to go over a few things. She asked whether or not I wanted the team to wear masks during my interview. I was caught off guard and felt as though I was put in a weird position that would be judged regardless of my answer. The next day I show up for the interview. I met with the team manager and they asked me a lot of questions but it was mainly conversational. They laid out how pay works, companies they were working with and what companies they were trying to work with in the future. I thought it went fairly well. After I sat with a member of the team in the role I was applying for to see what they were doing and ask questions.
The next day I received a call that I was not selected for the role and they went with someone else. That was a lie because the position was posted again that same day and I know they weren't hiring multiple people at the office for the role. I asked for feedback but was not given much. Honest feedback would've been helpful because I know it wasn't my lack of experience.
The company is definitely picky about who they hire, however I am glad I was not chosen in hindsight.

Interview
People have all been great and easy to talk to. Office was nice to go into. Relatively easy interviewing process, especially if you're easy to talk to. Seems like they're trying to see how you are as a person during the interview process.

Very immersive process, met four folks in the office and learned about the role, future opportunities, core values, and the culture. White board, role play, and panel style. Extra time spent answering my questions.
