I interviewed two years ago with Vmware for SWE role. The interviews were well-defined, clear and tested knowledge of system design, data structures, algorithms and web development topics. There were 4 rounds and 1 initial recruiter screening.

Leetcode Medium questions
System design a travel website accessed in multiple geo locations
I was given a question papaer with 20 c questions, basic syntax errors, data structures etc were asked, all were fill in the blanks or descriptive type of questions. The topics also covered Networking, OS, Arcitecture and debugging.
took 4 rounds of interview, 3 leetcode question, 1 system design. The leetcode question is pretty standard, but the system design question is hard. It took more than 1 hour for that round.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Broadcom (Tel Aviv-Yafo) in Jan 2026
Interview
A phone call with an employee, then schedule an interview. Interview on the office with two interviewers. Standard process, nothinf special. Two technical question, one leetcode style, second very weired.
