The process was surprisingly unorganized for a large company. The day started at noon, where I had lunch with other candidates and individuals that worked at BMS. The lunch was from noon to 115pm, and then there was a break from 115 to 245. Literally stuck in a small conference room with no wifi, making awkward conversation with non-decision makers for three hours! By the time i had my first interview, i was already exhausted as were the interviewers. Then after speaking with two individuals for 45 minutes i had another break for an hour!!!! The last round of interviews started at 430, and by that time everyone was exhausted and wanted to get the f out of there. My last interview, the woman actually brought me to the wrong room and yanked me five minutes in which disrupted the whole flow. At that point i was hungry, tired, and just wanted to get out of there. I wasn't particularly impressed with the individuals that i had met with, who were all career mid-level managers with no aspirations to advance or leave the company. The office was filled with cubes and was dead silent. There didn't seem to be much camaraderie among employees and the two individuals that we had lunch with that were in the rotation program last year barely knew each other. Regardless of what they tell you, this is a big company and feels like a big company and the ceiling seems to be very limited. No individual that i spoke to was super enthusiastic about the work they do, which is a huge tell. This is not a good place for an MBA, and i figured it out after waiting in a conference room for three hours.
