I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Brilliant Earth (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
The application was pretty easy and straightforward. However the phone interview was the most awkward one, we kept having connectivity issues which I ruled out as having been their end and not mine after the phone interview was done. We mostly talked about my experience in sales and a couple of situational questions. However, they determined I was "not a good fit" for their company, all based on a 5-10 minute phone call. Gotta give them props for their honesty, it allowed me to see what kind of employer they are and I dodged a bullet. Hey, on the plus side it allowed me to narrow down my choices on the employers that want to move forward with me. I'm willing to bet part of why I didn't fit, because I don't have that BA degree. Really? You think with a BA degree I'd be working for a company who can't even talk about what the wage is? Literally every interview I've done, the employer has mentioned at some point in the conversation what the starting pay is. I apologize I do not have a BA degree to work in retail jewelry. Shrug.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Brilliant Earth (San Diego, CA) in Mar 2021
Interview
During the time of my interview, it was a very fast process from phone call, to Zoom meeting, to hire. They actually did reach out to the references I listed. The process couldn't have taken more than a couple weeks.

I applied through other source. I interviewed at Brilliant Earth
Interview
Started off with a phone screening, then was invited for a zoom (online) interview where they ask you to take an assessment before. I submitted the assessment and then not even 30 minutes before the interview they canceled the zoom interview. Completely unprofessional in my mind, I have never had an experience like that before.
I applied online. I interviewed at Brilliant Earth (Washington, DC) in Jan 2020
Interview
3 phone interviews, 1 zoom interview. make sure you know about the company because that’s all they look for. they expect you to know their pillars of business & you have to do a mock sales pitch which is rly awkward lol.
