I applied through university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Bridgewater Associates (Hanover, NH) in Jun 2018
Interview
I only made it to the first round but essentially the first round was a group of 5-10 students discussing some relevant philosophical question. The interview is supposed to simulate what summer analysts do every morning which is discuss some kind of relevant current event
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Our philosophical question was whether a self driving car should swerve and kill the driver or continue driving straight and kill a pedestrian.
It was a four people group interview that discuss several philosophical questions.
The interviewer would intervene and redirect the conversation (quite often), which may or may not disrupt your thinking process.
It was not the worst but very unorhtox, I was expected to answer brainteaser questions and those that are not normally asked. It was truly helpful in finding myself as a person and it is definitely worth seeing their ivnesmtnet philosophy
