Candidates were phone interviewed, and then selected to be brought in a week or so later. During the second round, candidates were given a tour of the facility and a skills test, which was not too challenging for someone used to Final Cut Pro. People in the media department were very friendly and helpful, but did not hesitate to ask tough questions. The second phase of the interview consisted of a group conversation/debate on a topic slightly related to media chosen by the moderator. What they seemed to be looking for was conversational skill and people who shared their inquisitive nature. After this portion, qualified candidates were asked to stay on for one-on-one interviews with HR and the team we would be working with. Bridgewater's culture was presented and explored, and you have to buy in to that style of social work atmosphere to enjoy working there.
