Navigator Training Program (Chemical Engineer) Interview

      11 Jun 2013
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Akron, OH
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Bridgestone Americas (Akron, OH) in Jun 2013

      Interview

The interview process began when I was contacted by a member of HR. I believe I was chosen for the interview through submitting my resume at an on-campus event. I went to the Akron location for the interview. It began meeting with HR, then an intro presentation by the department head, then a panel interview that consisted of 3 members from various team leads, and finished with a lunch outing with 3 other employees from the location. HR told me they would have a decision most likely within a week and 2 at the most. I was not contacted after 2 weeks and decided to call HR to follow up. After leaving a message, HR called the next day and told me they chose another candidate.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Mostly a behavioral type interview. Most difficult question came from the woman in charge of innovation regarding "how I would improve an everyday product in an innovative way."
