During my initial HR call, the conversation took an unusual turn when the HR representative was handed a set of questions from management. These questions seemed to rely heavily on abbreviations that have multiple meanings that even the HR didn't understand, which struck me as naive approach from the management assuming that they are universally understood. Despite my CV highlighting extensive experience, it became apparent that someone in management was attempting to favor a candidate from their personal network "Janusek style". This approach not only undermines the principles of equal opportunity but also creates a culture that resembles a clique, where merit is overshadowed by personal connections.
The disregard for the company's "Equal Opportunity" slogan is particularly concerning, as it suggests a lack of commitment to fair hiring practices at the management level.
