Face to face interview with pre-prepared short presentation on how to maximise a pre-existing campaign. The information provided on the campaign was poor, with almost no detail on what was involved or any indication given to help understand what the charities donors were like. There was no mention of AV equipment available so I assumed that it would be a verbal only presentation especially as they were aware I was travelling by bus overnight to London from Edinburgh at the last minute because they were unwilling to conduct a skype interview. The recruiter I was dealing with made it seem that I ought tofind a way to make the journey down as I seemed a top pick from the CVs... My only feedback from my interview and presentation was that I should have brought a powerpoint and laptop as the other candidate(who didn't have as much experience as me, I was told) had done this and they preferred that approach. I appreciate that this comes down to going for someone with the right "fit" so I am not angry about the decision. However, I feel more thought could be put into the presentation question to make it clearer what they are looking for.
