Describing two experiences:
Co-op interview: Probably the worst interview experience I've had. Probably around 50 kids in an on-campus building. Each student interviews with 2 full-time employees and experiences highly dependent on which employee you get. One of them discussed himself and his position for probably 20 minutes. Got ghosted but then the company cancelled their co-op program due to the pandemic anyways.
Engineer: Got initial phone call, but surprised to learn that the basic R&D role (job description included design, regular product development tasks) was actually more on sustaining/quality side. Especially at a company so large, it would be immensely helpful to put a little more specific details about the role rather than lumping every role into a R&D. Got ghosted but actually have no interest.

A series of questions relating to background, skills and interest. First it was a phone screen, then an interview with multiple members of the team. Finally, I was given an offer.
