Interview
No engagement or excitement from the hiring manager. Bland questions was zero substance that lacked current market trends for on-site positions. Corporate is obviously removed from daily operations of on-site employees, it shows. I dodged a bullet.
Fairly easy, asked to explain how one would build out a proforma. Second part of interview related to previous experience in real estate. Most of the interview was related to personality rather than quantitative skills.
The process consisted of a phone call interview, in person interviews and a straightforward modeling test that required decent knowledge of financial statements and excel. Phone interview was mostly behavioral and in person was a combination of behavioral and technicals. Overall a fairly straightforward process.
