      Director Interview

      13 Jan 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Borrego in Dec 2021

      Interview

Recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn, I sent over my resume and applied online to the role. Two weeks later the recruiter reached out through email to set up a call. Scheduled a call spoke about the opportunity, and was told once the holiday is over they would reach out about any next steps. Have reached out 3 times since without any response. It's been a month since the phone screen. I get that things happen and maybe they didn't think I was a fit for the role but be a human and just drop a short sentence long response back so people can move on. No one likes to be ghosted. These actions seem acceptable across the board in the recruiting world and it's pretty sad that manners and common decency have gone out the door. Recruiters are the first person a candidate interacts with, how do you think people will view the overall company if the first person they interact with leaves them with a poor taste.

      Interview

Met with many people, and was sold on a job that didn't exist. Leadership team was in turmoil and there were many different decision makers for simple processes. Not an ideal situation for a company in growth mode.
