I applied online. I interviewed at Borealis Basecamp (Fairbanks, AK) in Jul 2024
Interview
Fast and straight forward.
Applied and got a phone call that same day.
Interview had normal questions, asking about myself, talked about employment housing and job description.
Got a job offer within a week but communication dropped after that. Had a few emails here and there giving details of me getting picked up at the airport.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Borealis Basecamp (New York, NY)
Interview
I found the entire process completely unprofessional. For instance, they just called me randomly when I was really busy. They didn't set up or schedule a time for the interview until after the original call. When I did interview, I found their questions personal and invasive. I interviewed for an E.M.T. position, and they literally asked me what the most gruesome thing I had experienced was. It was actually really awkward to recall, but I responded by telling them I had rolled a patient with crepitus. It was obvious they had no clue what that even was.
