I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Boom Marketing (Virginia) in Dec 2015
Interview
3 interviews. First you meet with Whitney and if she thinks you're a fit, you'll go out into the field to meet with one of the marketers to watch an "event" in action. You'll also have a de facto interview with that marketer. If you get approval from that person, you'll meet with Whitney again and it gets a little more specific before she offers the job.

Interview
Applied online and was emailed later that night asking for an initial interview; interviewed in Fairfax. Initial interview was with the director; she seemed like she had interviewed many many people as she sounded somewhat like a tape-recorder in her questions and responses. Also, while waiting in reception, the receptionist was making nonstop calls confirming interviews for later that same day so they are clearly going through a lot of people. I arrived a little before 10 minutes before my interview start time but wasn't seen until about 25 minutes after my interview time scheduled. The director was too busy socializing with others in her room before she could start the interview process. Another interviewee in came as I was waiting and because my start time got pushed- as did hers. As I previously read in other posts, the director did somewhat snap and seem irritable at questions; I may have asked her to repeat answers to my questions but that's only because she talks super fast. Got a call later the same afternoon asking to schedule the second round interview but kindly declined (decided it wasn't for me).

Interview
It was really painless, they were patient with me as I had a complicated schedule with my current job. There are three interviews total which really made me understand what Boom does.
