I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Bonnie Brae
Interview
Basically its group form, will do a role play simulation of a typical work day on campus with kids in which crisis may happen. How to deal with all issues pertaining to that day
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bonnie Brae in May 2018
Interview
The interview is multi-faceted. It is a group interview in a conference room. First they tell you about the job and ask if anyone has any questions. Then they ask you to tell them about yourself, the experience you have and what you can contribute in a general sense. Next they do a role play scenario. The scenario is some kind of crisis or pre-crisis situation which you have to manage/de-escalate. The role play is intense but a good example of what it can be like to work there. Finally each person does a one on one interview where they ask more in depth questions. Some questions are very personal like what kinds of things upset you. They need you to understand your triggers because kids will push your buttons and so you need to be able to understand that. They will ask you about your ability to talk about emotions, your experience working with kids, and maybe even your experience with certain kinds of trauma.
I applied online. I interviewed at Bonnie Brae (Basking Ridge, NJ) in Mar 2017
Interview
Applied online and was called for an interview. The interviewer appeared nice, but it was apparent very quickly that his arrogance fuels much of his work. He spoke a lot about himself and did not seem interested in my experience, which according to him, I "don't have much of." He asked questions purely to watch me squirm and prove his dominance in the situation. Even asked me to rate my interview performance at the end, which I felt was just rude at that point. It was clear that working under him would not consist of collaboration, just him telling others what to do and spreading his arrogant knowledge to those beneath him. The negative environment made me want to leave before the interview was even over.

Question 1
Why do you think I called you in today given that you have very little clinical experience?
