I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Bombardier (Downsview, ON) in Feb 2018
Interview
1 phone interview with the recruiter, then a written test that you must study for in advance (I recommend to set a few days aside if you are new to aerospace and manufacturing principles). Once you pass the test, then you will be interviewed by a panel of leaders in different teams to see where you will be a good fit.
The whole process took about 3 weeks start to end. Once I was in contact with the recruiter, the rest of the process happened pretty quickly.

A 2-hour written test on-site with a 70% pass score to gain interview. A panel interview with 5 individuals including managers two different manufacturing teams, and floor supervisors.
