Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. We’re sorry you had what you felt was a negative experience, but we appreciate the feedback.
Quite frankly, your comments caught us a little off guard because we typically receive very positive feedback about your interview process. It’s often been described as “refreshing.” So many people are used to a “one and done” type of interview process, which is just like is sounds; one person from a company interviews you, then they extend an offer. That may work for some companies, but a transactional interview process is not for us.
We like to take the time to get to know someone. We want to know what makes them want to jump out of bed in the morning, excited to start their day. We want to learn about their career goals and aspirations to see if we can put them on a path to achieve them. From the very first outreach from our recruiting team, we talk about our amazing culture and are transparent about the process the entire way though. We allow candidates to speak to different team members in the organization and encourage them to ask questions. Along the way, they get to experience and evaluate the role they have applied for, our company, and our culture to see if a role with Blytheco is truly a fit for them.
All too often, we interview candidates who are seeking a new role because they didn’t have the opportunity to fully vet their most recent employer. Many have candidly shared that they were just not aware of what they were getting into when they accepted their offer, so they found themselves back in the job market.
We’re all about transparency in our interview process, and we strive to deliver a great candidate experience that is a win-win for all parties involved.
Since it has been almost a year since you spoke with us, we’re sure that by now you’ve found the right career opportunity for you. Wishing you the best!
