I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Blume Global (New Delhi)
Interview
The interview process goes like this:
Round 1: Behavioural round. This round is just cultural check whether you're a fit for the company or not.
Round 2: Technical. This round is mostly technical. And pretty basic TBH
Online Test(pretty basic)
Round 3: Managerial +Technical+HR
Round 4: Offer Yay/Nay. Mostly CTC discussion
I lost in round 3. Because if my poor knowledge in JPA. All you need is Spring boot and JPA. And negotiate the figure strongly, you'll definitely get what you want.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Blume Global (Bengaluru) in Oct 2021
Interview
My interview process started on 18th October after I got recommended by Naukri.com.
I got selected from the first three technical and managerial rounds.
I got a call from Blume Global's HR who conveyed this message and confirmed if my notice period is 45 days, to which I clearly mentioned that my notice period is 90 days and not 45 days. This turned out to be a miscommunication between Naukri.com's HR and Blume Global's HR.
Besides my clear communication about my notice period to Blume Global's HR, my final HR interview round was scheduled, where again I mentioned my notice period as 90 days which can be slightly negotiated to 60 days as I have a lot of responsibilities in my current position.
I again got a call Nov 18th from Blume Global's HR saying that they are ready to roll out my offer if I can join within 45 - 60 days.
On Nov 22th I called her back saying, as confirmed by my team lead I can leave my present firm in 60 days instead of 90, but Blume Global's HR came up with a new "company policy" which was never told to me in my entire interview process which is "Joining date must be 30 days in offer letter".
I'm not challenging your company policies but it was a waste of time being involved in the recruitment process for more than a month and being told about this policy at the very end.It was never mentioned, this process is only for immediate joiners.
Even if it was not known to me but it would always have been known to you guys, so you could have stopped my interview process easily at the very beginning.
I was very impressed with the managers and leads who took my 4 rounds of interviews and I was looking forward to joining this company, but I'm very sorry to say that if this is the common experience for other candidates as well then your HR Team is making this company lose talents.
