The interviewer was great, chilled out. Asked me about personal and work experiences. The interview went for 20 minutes. I was hired on the spot as they liked me and the experience I had.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at BlueScope (Melbourne) in Feb 2021
Interview
First I recieved an email inviting me to take part in a one way virtual interview. You need to video yourself responding to a scenario that is given yo you.
I then received a phone call and had informal chat where I was invited to the second round of interviews. That was followed by a formal email invite to the interview with the local and state managers and a Zoom link. That interview went for around 45 minutes.
Following the offer there will be an on-site meeting and a medical check required.

Question 1
Tell us about how you handled a difficult situation?
What salary do you want?
How do you go about avoiding keying errors under pressure?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at BlueScope (Port Kembla) in May 2013
Interview
The process started with a recruiter interview, followed by joint interview with Group Manager and HR representative. If you progress the is a 2-3 hour long online test to complete on three areas: comprehension, verbal reasoning, and maths. The maths one is not easy - but not because the questions are challenging, but rather due to a hard to read layout, and convoluted questions. I believe I got all the answers right, but it timed out on me at about 80%. If you pass, you are referred to a basic medical test (breathing capacity, hearing, heart rate, eye sight, etc.). After all this you can expect to receive an offer.

Question 1
It's an extremely process oriented interview with structured questions around commercial transactions, negotiations, and sales skills. Q: How would you persuade your client to sell on your behalf (to their own customers)?
