I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at BluePay Processing (Oakville, ON) in Nov 2019
Interview
Had an initial interview with the company. It was definitely one of the most UNPROFESSIONAL interviews I have ever been too. I walked into the interview with one person in the room, the IT director / manager. He started to ask me questions, to which I had excellent answers for. Half way through the interview, another lady walks in. I then have to regurgitate all of the information I provided previously do the gentlemen to the lady.
Nevertheless, the interview went fantastic, good enough for them to call me back for a second interview the next week.
I went to the second interview, to then meet one person. I believe she was the department lead. I had the interview with her for about 15 minutes, and then what do you know, the CEO / CFO just walks in and starts asking me a load of questions. I feel as though I had to regurgitate, re-explain my self over and over again. And then what do you know, the gentlemen who I interviewed with in the first initial interview walks in and sits down and says nothing just staring and all of us and the conversation.
Then the interview is over. The Employment agency ROBERT HALF TECH - calls me about another job, not even telling me how this job went. I told them i'm not interested in another job, i'll wait to hear back from this one.
Then the director from the employment agency who send me on the interview calls me back saying ----- the company really liked me but they ended up going with a bilingual candidate.
Question - WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU WASTE MY TIME BRINGING ME TO A 2ND INTERVIEW - WHEN I ALREADY TOLD YOU IN THE FIRST INTERVIEW I AM NOT BILINGUAL???
HAD YOU KNOWN YOU WANTED A BILINGUAL CANDIDATE, WHY WASTE MY TIME A SECOND TIME??
I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at BluePay Processing (Chicago, IL) in Jan 2014
