Interview
I applied for a few positions for which I was qualified. My resume was picked up by a hiring manager for a position which I did not apply for. We scheduled a phone interview and I discovered about five minutes in that the manager had focused in on a single skill set (vibration testing) and ignored the higher level skill sets. With almost seven years of experience I was interviewed for a position with roles and responsibilities so minimal that they could have been done by a recent graduate or an intern.

Tell me about your job duties for each position on your resume.
They want you to do a million interviews for no reason. While other companies like Boeing make you only do one. They have a HR call, then a 1 hour zoom call, then another 1 hour zoom call, and then a panel interview.
Standard industry interview process. 30 min with a recruiter, 30 min with manager, and 1 hr with a panel. The process from the first interview to an offer was quick.

Asked me to explain some technical details about my college projects

1 panel interview (1 hour prepared presentation, with five 30 minute chats with each panel member)
Recieved a phone call a couple days later saying it’d take two weeks.
Two weeks came by and said it’d be another week.
About that time next week I received an email from the recruiter notifying me that I was selected.
