I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Bloomberg (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2016
Interview
Typical phone screening, then an in person interview in the San Francisco office (a few hours long if you move to the second round - first round in person and second round you skype with the director of sales from New York). They got back to me within a few days with an offer.

Question 1
In the phone screening - Do you read the news, do you follow economic/financial news? if so, what are some recent headlines? (name 3-4).
In person interview - why bloomberg? Why sales? why finance? Describe a time that you had to make a difficult decision. A few finance and econ questions.
I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Bloomberg (New York, NY) in Jun 2024
Interview
6 month interview cycle so it takes a while to actually talk to managers. The trader was not the nicest and would laugh after interviews. Overall a really long process
