The interview process was quite long and honestly, the creative task was one of the largest I’ve ever been asked to produce in the 10+ years I’ve worked in the creative industry. I was thorough with my questions prior to starting the task and found they encouraged creative freedom but when I was unsuccessful in getting the role, I was told reasoning that contradicted the creative freedom I had been encouraged earlier. It was also confusing to have been told I was “the top scoring” applicant but to have been unsuccessful only when I chased for an update on the outcome as I had nothing after the final interview stage. Pretty poor communication and disappointing experience!

They decided to go with other candidates which is fair but I felt that the feedback given to me was unfair and completely backtracked on everything that was said in the actual interview so I felt disappointed by it.
- First was the HR interview, pretty basic.
- Second interview was with two members of the tech team. The interview was pretty technical. They asked me questions about previous experiences and to justify my technical choices.
