I applied online. I interviewed at Blend (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2017
Interview
Made it to the onsite after 2 phone screens and HR challenge.
At the onsite, the recruiter walked me out after 3 rounds of interviews saying that the last 2 interviewers were busy and hence wouldn't be able to interview me.
This just seems really, really unprofessional.
If you guys knew a candidate wasn't going to be hired, you should just tell them instead of giving some fake excuse that the rest of the people were busy. We're perfectly fine being informed during the middle of the onsite if the team thought that a candidate was never going to be hired. I'd have taken that rejection over some made-up excuse any day. Really disappointed on how HR handled this, and it was also the first time I've ever experienced something like this during my time recruiting, with no heads up on the possibility of candidates being walked out right in the middle. Giving all of you guys a heads up so you all know what to expect at your onsite!
Really poor way to treat candidates, and overall left a sour impression. 100% Would NOT recommend, and guys please do take note of the negative interview experiences left on this page!
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Blend (San Francisco, CA) in May 2021
Interview
1. HackerRank challenge - not your standard DSA, but a node process stream
2. phone call with a recruiter - just to schedule interview and learn about the process
3. technical interview with an engineer
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Blend in Apr 2021
Interview
A hacker rank online test, recruiter call to go over the job details and typical behavioral questions, two technical screens - leetcode like data structure and algorithms problems, then virtual onsite with five interviews.

Question 1
Medium leetcode questions, behavioral like "Why are you interested in the company?", "What are the criteria you'd use to choose the company?", etc.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Blend (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2020
Interview
All the interviewers are super nice, talking to them is enjoyable. There are total four technical rounds and one manager round with only behavior questions. The working environment seems to be casual without too much pressure, that's really good
