The remote interview with hiring manager was fantastic. The feedback was great, told me I was the prefect candidate. Then scheduled in person at HQ with a VP. It was rescheduled once, then I arrived and was told while waiting in lobby the interviewer would be half an hour to an hour late, suggested I go to Starbucks. I waited patiently in lobby, noticing how extremely casual everyone was dressed. Torn jeans and flip flops were frequently seen as people returned from lunch. The interviewer arrived, walked me into a small room and I had one of the strangest interviews of my entire professional career. It was so dismissive, demeaning and all around a waste of my time. I picked up on a cultural vibe and thread of general discontent while in the Headquarters office. It wasn’t a place I wanted to be and the person in front of me was a total insecure clown. I left the building and never looked back. I hope they can figure things out, if never consider working there after what I experienced.
