The scheduling for interviews and overall organization was good and all interviewers showed on time. Applied online and interviewed online. The interview itself was fair and the interviewers were professional.
I applied for a backend software engineering role at Bitvavo in 2025 and had a positive interview experience. The HR team was helpful and kept things moving quickly. The process was pretty standard: one round with two medium LeetCode questions, another on Java basics and concurrency, a system design interview based on one of Bitvavo’s real processes, and a team fit round. The interviewers were friendly and professional. I ended up turning down the offer because i had a more competitive offer elsewhere, but overall, Bitvavo left a good impression.

I wasn't impressed by the interviewers or the questions. During the interview, they nodded and agreed with me. One week later, I recieved feedback that my solution was wrong and had major flaws. Why didn't they say so during the intereview, then?
