BioPhase Solutions interview questions

Resume Farmers & Time Wasters This company was part of the HireUC Career Fair. The event website had their recruiter's email posted so I applied in July 2024 with Vanessa before the event in August. I was told Vanessa no longer worked there and I had to contact Tiffany. I reapplied with Tiffany, set up a phone call, went through the interview process, only to be told "they put the position on hold due the sheer number of applicants they received". They also wanted me to do a design challenge which just seems like they were looking for free labor... Maybe I just wasn't the right fit but it seemed like a scam. They put the position on hold BEFORE the event yet they still collected resumes and had the position on their website even months later? If they had too many applicants why keep accepting them and make them jump through hoops for nothing?
