I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Big Red Recruitment (Stratford-upon-Avon, England) in May 2011
Interview
I initially spoke with one of the directors on the phone so that I could get a basic understanding of the role and the company, they then invited me to a face to face interview. This was an informal meeting where I was asked mainly about my previous experience, interests outside of work and what motivated me. I was then told more about the company and given plenty of opportunity to ask any questions. After the interview I fed back to the recruitment agency and they arranged a final interview with the second Director, it was a very conversational meeting which gave me a good feel for the company/team. I spoke with the agency and later that day I was offered the role!
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Big Red Recruitment (Stratford-upon-Avon, England) in May 2011
Interview
I initially met with the Directors where it was quite informal and they took the time to understand me, my background, motivations and what I sought from a potential employer.
We then talked through some scenarios to demonstrate what, where and how I had managed certain situations and resolved issues or delivered a high level of service.
I had the opportunity to see the offices and get any initial questions answered.
After my interview I fed back to the rec2rec and they spoke with the Directors and I was invited back to meet more of the team and deliver some role play scenarios which included both candidate and client handling and present to them what I would do upon joining the business if I was successful. I was able to have a very open conversation about the team, challenges and the development of the role.
Again feedback was delivered and I was then made an offer! Which I happily and readily accepted :)
