Phone call with recruiter then call with manger then technical interview. I don’t normally leave these reviews reviews but sheesh it was probably the worst run/unprofessional technical I’ve ever seen. They told me (with 25 minutes left in the chat) that they wanted to me build and run a React Native project. This was with no prior warning that this would be how the technical is going to work. Literally gave me a take home test and wanted me to finish it in 25 minutes. Unbelievable. I told them this was unreasonable and that without warning for what to prepare for I’m sitting here sharing screen and having to use my current companies project (a big no no obviously but they literally asked me to do this) to quickly bootstrap in some functionality for this “test”. Worst part is, this was actually an easy test and with 45-60 minutes would have been easy to do. I’ll let you guess whether or not I heard back. Don’t waste your time going through this because they are going to waste it.
