BHD conducts interviews in a 4 part process. 1, a phone screening. 2, a "practical test". 3, a whole day with them shadowing and doing a network test. 4, a conversation with the CEO. At the time of this writing, they don't share the actual pay scale until stage 4. For their sake I hope they change that process because it's not consistent with SB1162. The "practical test" is an attempt to see how you do with an extremely dated DOS version of the software they resell. They provide a pamphlet of instructions, but I didn't find it helpful. (pro tip: hit F1 for the help menu) I entertained the first two parts of the interview and explicitly asked them to share the pay scale. They never followed through, so I disqualified them from my job search. Internal process documentation is described as "pretty good". I picked up on there being a lot of undocumented tribal knowledge. No WFH offered. Flat org structure. Business model of Value Added Reselling.
