The interview process was very robust for the position. There were about five interviews overall with the recruiter, HR manager, and several leaders within the company. They also required taking two exams that assess you on your personality and IQ.
During each interview, I receive positive responses and they made it seem like they were very interested in me, hence why I got through 5 interviews and passed their exams with flying colors. They even told me that my exams showed that I was exactly what they were looking for in a candidate and that many of my responses overlapped with other members of their team.
After an extensive process, Bialek ghosted me without explanation. I didn't even get a message saying they were not interested. For me that was a clear sign that they don't value people or their time. Later on I applied for another position in the company and they reached out saying they were interested in my resume. Nothing changed in my experiences, but all of a sudden they were interested again.
On the interview for the second position I brought to their attention I had interviewed before. They mentioned they ghosted me because I didn't have experience in the office furniture industry. If they knew from interview #1 that it was important to hire someone with office furniture experience, they shouldn't have ever wasted my time doing 5 interviews and 2 exams.
